Just Sing A Song

*Sigh*
I miss the good old days..Our former KP initiated the choir group in my previous department..
I myself was far too busy with my daily work to even care...even though choir has been my thing since my Uni days..
It was until that fateful day where I heard them butcher my favourite patriotic song "Warisan" that provoked me to help..obviously, they had the potential, but lack the skill..
So thus began my journey with the JKPTG Choir team, very enthusiastic team of people who some came to escape the dreary work, to have fun, and one of them even joined because wanted to boost her confidence performing in front of people..
It wasn't easy of course, since I had to practically find time to teach them, and I was very lucky to have the music know-how from Asyari..
But needless to say, the choir team was much sought after, performing at every official function..
So, I did leave a mark there... thanks, you guys!!

For the ones that truly matter

"A friend is one who believes in you when you have ceased to believe in yourself"
I love my friends
It is amazing that people of different personalities, traits, background...can find common ground and bond?

To my lovely sistahs... Farah, Idayu, Raihana, Julie and Yanti..

I am afraid...

Decided to pen this down...

I am afraid

That the world as i know won't be around for my children

My chidren will never feel the ocean, free of pollution

The air, clear and sweet

The earth, full of life

I want things to change

I am afraid

That the world will stay mute

Amist cruelty happening all over

Rivers filled with blood

Cries fill the void

Death everywhere

I want things to change

I am afraid

That when I go to sleep tonight

Someone will lose their parents

Mothers will lose their daughters

Fathers shall lose their sons

No peace

I WANT THINGS TO CHANGE

Superwomen

I am surrounded by many Superwomen..

My Mum for one...for being 62, and yet having the strength and stamina of a 26 year old...still taking care of our needs..I am humbled that being 30...my mum still cooks for me..

The women in my office, who toils with files and reports...and yet still find time to take care of their family...take their kids at school, cook, clean...women of steel...

Then there's my lovely friend, Farah...who despite all the wealth she has been showered with, takes care of her two kids with gusto...people of her stature would have left everything to the bibik, but she balances work, yet be there for her kids..she's is truly a zillion times more FAB than Kimora Lee Simmons!
To farah, and all u superwomen out there...I salute U!

Beginners Luck

Salam Everybody!
